Ravi Mandlik was born at Achalpur, Maharashtra. He was a Member of Teaching Faculty of Sir J. J. School of Art, Mumbai. Has had several solo exhibitions and participations including Tao Art Gallery, Mumbai; Vinyasa Art Gallery, Chennai; The Ueno Royal Museum, Tokyo; International show organized by Articulate, New York; ‘The Indiart show 2006’; The Chapel Gallery, Singapore Chivas Art Alive, Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore; ‘Maratha Kaleidoscope’ Al Diyafa Centre, Satwa, Dubai; W/N Millennium Show at London, Brussel, Stockholm and New-York; International Art Exhibition, Yokohama Citizens’ Gallery, Japan. He won the Junior Fellowship from Bendre - Hussian scholarship from B A S Mumbai; One of the five winning artist from India for the Winsor & Newton worldwide millennium painting competition; Junior Fellowship from Cultural Dept. of Govt. of India International award of Seychelles visual art binnale from Seychelles govt. Jury Member, National Exhibition of Art. Paintings are collection in National Gallery of Modern Art, Mumbai & Delhi; Lalit Kala Academy, Delhi; Maharashtra State Govt., and private collection in India and abroad. Ravi lives and works in Mumbai.
