Deepti’s paintings relates with contemporary style of art, which has high-tech characteristic. She is a figurative painter but treat color as the most important element of her creative perception. Her forms are simple with her strong graphical sensibilities. She feels her forms create dancing shapes where the enjoyment in the work process could be felt. She has a lengthy process of construction and experimentation. Her process of lay outing is pretty lengthy and she takes a lot of time in experimenting. She wants the color to speak louder than the forms in conveying moods and expression. Her work is not religious but just a mere representation of the world around her. Like the cows, which are a common animal and a part of common living in Indian homes, like mostly everyday in Indian Homes people make the first chapatti in their morning breakfast to offer to the cow. Artist Biodata

Deepti Gupta, born in New Delhi, studied Applied Art at the College of Art, & Masters in Painting, Jiwaji University, Gwalior. She has held a solo painting exhibition at Triveni Kala Sangam, New Delhi, 2016. A Two Artists show at the Open Palm Court Gallery, India Habitat Centre, 2016. She has participated with: Rendering Duality, Group Show, Dhoomimal Art Centre, Delhi, 2014; Gallerie Nvya, Delhi, 2014; Art Gallie, Singapore, 2015; Art Gallie, Singapore, 2016; Gallerie Nvya, IGI Airport, 2016; Gallerie Nvya, IGI Airport, 2017; Gallerie Nvya, Pullman Aerocity, 2017; Gallerie Nvya, Saket, 2018; Ampas Art Gallery, 2018; Gallerie Nvya, Saket, 2018; Ampas Art Gallery, 2019; Gallerie Nvya, Saket, 2019. She visited Australia for a Residency Program at Academy Gallery, University of Tasmania (UTAS) (Australia) 2016. She has held a solo exhibition in Testing Ground Art Gallery, Creative Victoria- Victoria Govt, and Melbourne, Australia, 2016. She has participated in the national level exhibition organized by AIFACS, 2015. She participated in 7th Art Exhibition, Artscapes, 2018 and in an Art Camp by (AIFACS). Her Paintings are in collection with World Bank Organization- Washington DC, Victoria Govt., Tapestry Restaurant, New York, Novotel Hotel, Chennai and many private and public collections in India & abroad.
